Distinct Characteristics of MS-13 and the Bloods
MS-13, or Mara Salvatrucha, originated in Los Angeles among Salvadoran immigrants. It later expanded across Central America. The gang is notorious for extreme violence and the use of machetes in attacks. MS-13 enforces strict loyalty among its members and uses complex codes for communication. Members often have full-face tattoos symbolizing gang pride and identity.
In contrast, the Bloods formed in the 1970s in Los Angeles as a response to the dominance of the Crips. They are known for their rivalry with the Crips, using red as their identifying color. The Bloods engage in a variety of criminal activities including drug trafficking and robbery……………..
Shared Characteristics Between MS-13 and the Bloods
