Courtroom Role Responsibilities
1. Judge – The Final Authority
The judge is undoubtedly the central figure in the courtroom who oversees the legal process. First and foremost, their primary responsibilities include ensuring a fair trial, interpreting laws, and making rulings on motions and objections. In particular, during bench trials, judges determine guilt or innocence and issue sentences. Furthermore, they must remain impartial and ensure all legal procedures are followed.
