Article Selection Process
To support my topic, I used scholarly databases such as PubMed, Medline, and CINAHL. I filtered search results by using keywords related to ADHD diagnosis and treatment in children. I applied criteria such as peer-review status, publication within the last five years, and relevance to clinical practice. These strategies ensured that I retrieved credible and up-to-date sources for accurate evidence-based insights.
Reason for Choosing PubMed
I selected PubMed because it is a comprehensive and reliable source of biomedical literature. It provided access to free full-text articles, systematic reviews, and randomized controlled trials related to pediatric ADHD. PubMed’s advanced search filters helped me narrow down the results to the most recent and clinically relevant publications. This database supported my need for evidence that aligns with DSM-5-TR guidelines and pharmacologic treatment options.
Articles Supporting My Topic
