Proposed Interview Procedures
For my interview procedures, I plan to interview healthcare professionals who have experience in patient advocacy roles. These individuals can provide rich insights into the challenges and successes of promoting patient-centered care. I will incorporate the exact verbiage from the Institutional Review Board (IRB)’s Office of Research and Compliance in both the invitation and informed consent documents. This ensures ethical standards and participant protection.

My revised interview guide now includes five key components. First, the invitation clearly explains the study’s purpose, time commitment, and participant rights. Interview Format and Peer Debriefing
I will conduct interviews via phone due to its flexibility and ability to capture tone and context. Phone interviews also allow participants from various locations to take part, increasing diversity. According to Novick (2008), phone interviews maintain data richness while being cost-effective and accessible, especially when visual cues are not essential.

After interviews are completed, I will coordinate a peer debriefing with a classmate to reflect on the findings and interpretation process. This will enhance credibility by challenging assumptions and refining emerging themes. We will connect by phone to ensure real-time dialogue and better understanding.
